Gameplay Features
Platforming
Return to classic gameplay and platforming of the Sands of Time universe, and that means a return to fluid, skill-based acrobatics. Familiar moves such as leaping over huge gaps, wall-running and clinging to columns are all coming back. Timing and chaining of acrobatic is going to be essential to effectively use powers over nature to get from one place to another. The game is developed on Ubisoft's internally developed engine Anvil, the same engine that is used in Assassin's Creed I & II. It will allow the same freedom to navigate and explore each and every level as offered by Assassin's Creed.
Puzzles
Since this game pretty much follows Sands of Times, puzzles are bound to return and immerse the player in the game, with a challenge uplift.
Combat
Combat includes fighting up to fifty enemies onscreen. These foes will use different strategies such as encircling the Prince to use their overwhelming number to their advantage.
In order to make this fun and manageable,the combat system is designed with a unique philosophy 锟?crowd control. Due to the sheer number of enemies the Prince must fight simultaneously, fighting directly the mob is pitting yourself against its greatest strength.
Combat is about staying very mobile using the Prince锟絪 swordplay, his incredible acrobatic talent, the ability to knock down enemies 锟?effectively repelling them 锟?and using the new powers. In other words, the players will have to use all Prince锟絪 strengths to turn each fight to their advantage. This adds a layer of strategy, ensuring every combat is fun, challenging and distinct.
