Alien Vs Predator 2010 + Multiplayer (Online and Lan)!

I know everyone wanted multiplayer for this game (as the game itself is incredible, especially the multiplayer, though). So here it is!:

Game Info:
Ever since the Predator and Aliens franchises made their debut on the silver screen, people have wanted to see them wage war against one another. In 2004 their wish was granted with an abhorrent film adaptation, followed by another poor attempt in 2007. In an effort to breathe new life into the struggling franchises, Rebellion Games (the very same studio that brought us the last great AVP effort in 1999) is taking a stab at a virtual iteration for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It delivers three short single-player campaigns along with a suite of multiplayer modes and maps.
System Requirements:
Windows 7/ XP/Vista
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 or equivalent processor
2 GB System RAM
DirectX 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB RAM (NVIDIA 8800 series, ATI HD2900 PRO or better)
Multiplayer Files:
Install (for normal game):
1.It will take a very, very long time to install (alteast 1 hour, though took me 3), so don't go installing at school.. IMO you also want to go to the "Errors" section right now to pre-fix problems (especially if you are using win7!)
2.Ok, so you just mount the .iso to daemon tools or something.
3.Run the setup file, the extracting will take a long time just wait.

Install (for multiplayer):
1.Install "Steam"
2.Make a free acount
3.Download the "Zero Gear" demo on steam.
4.Copy the crack files from the .rar into your AvP directory.
5.Play whilst steam is open (NOTE: You can only play against other people who have the cracked version as legit people have updated and arn't visible) =(
7.Add Fissy85 (me) to play online with. =D

Q: When I play the marine campaign it crashes when I use the flashlight?:
A: Simply run the game from AVP.exe ONLY.
Q:I have Win7, why isn't it working?
A: Win7 doesn't automatically have some settings set, so you have to do it manually, this may not fix if you do it after install:
1.Open Control Panel
2.Find Programs and features (its there, just keep looking)
3.Then on the left you should see "Turn windows features on or off"
4.Find "Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1" when the window opens
Click the + sign next to it to expand it so you can now see:
"Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation"
"Windows Communication Foundation HTTP non-Activation"
Make sure there is a tick in both boxes and select OK.
After pressing OK, it may take a minute. Just let it do its stuff, after its done restart your computer, if the game still doesn't work then you have to re-install.
If you can't find "Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1" then make sure you have it installed (it normally is installed automagically with Win7).
Q: My game crashes (usually just after intro)
A: Follow this:
1.Open Control Panel
2.Find Sound
3.Right click on your current speakers and click properties
4.Go to the advanced tab then change sound from whatever it is to "24 Bits, 48000 H z (Studio Quality)" , if for some reason you don't have that then change it to "24 Bits, 41000 H z (Studio Quality)"
Q: I get this message:"Only part of a redaprocessmemory or writeprocessmemory was completed"
A: Disable your antivirus and re-enable after installing.

Oh and btw, if you want to play with others online there are two ways you can do so:
Play with friends:
Invite your friends into a group and start a match.
Play with randoms/friends:
If you want to play with randoms then *DON'T* click browse games. You will not find any games. You must do the find games for me thing.
If you want to play with randoms *and* friends then see Play with Friends above, but wait when you are in the game lobby, if people are using find games for me they will join your game. Otherwise you can get friends into your group and just search for games yourself.[/quote]
