Tomb Raider: Anniversary is the eighth game of computer and video game series Tomb Raider. It was released in 2007. It is a remake of the original Tomb Raider for 1996, using the new game engine for Tomb Raider: Legend.
The game was co-developed by Crystal Dynamics and Buzz Monkey Software for PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, PC and Nintendo Wii. Eidos announced for June 1, 2007 as release date for the PS2 version for Microsoft Windows and in Europe and June 5 as the date Americana. The PSP version was released soon after with the Wii version. The Xbox 360 version was officially announced for June 18, 2007.
